Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy by Dr. Walter Willett

For our first podcast, we were extremely lucky to be able to speak with Harvard Professor, Dr. Walter Willett. Dr.Willett is an American physician and nutrition researcher. He is a Professor of Epidemiology, Nutrition and Medicine and the Chair of the Department of Nutrition at Harvard University.  He has published over 1,000 scientific articles regarding various aspects of diet and disease and is the second most cited author in clinical medicine. In the public eye, Dr. Willett is perhaps best known for his 2001 book Eat, Drink and Be Healthy. Tune in to hear us discuss the downfall of the no-fat diet, the shift in the food pyramid and the truth about anti-oxidants.

  1. A lot of valuable information here! Really enjoyed listening to Dr. Willett. His recommended food pyramid reminded me of a Macrobiotic diet. Really cool that it includes exercise! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to episode 2.
